Equipment guidelines Grounding equipment must include either a wrist strap or a foot strap at a grounded workstation. ■ When seated, wear a wrist strap connected to a grounded system. Wrist straps are flexible straps with a minimum of one megohm ±10% resistance in the ground cords. To provide proper ground, wear a strap snugly against the skin at all times. -

There are as many as 95 screws, in 8 different sizes, that must be removed, replaced, or loosened when servicing the computer. Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement. Remove the four Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws 1 that secure the display assembly to the computer. Be sure to hold the display before removing the last screw to prevent damage to the display.
