- Page 3 Introduction ® The Epson 34OMB SCSI hard disk drive is a high capacity, high performance, random access storage device designed to be installed in your EISA Series (desktop or tower) computer. This manual provides information you need to know to install the SCSI hard disk drive in your computer, and lists the technical specifications for the drive.
- Page 4 User’s Guide to install a disk drive. Also see your SCSI Adapter Card User’s Guide for details on installing an internal SCSI device. As you install the SCSI hard disk drive, refer to the illustration on the following page to identify the different parts.
- Page 6 Before installing the SCSI hard disk drive, need to check the jumper settings on the drive. The jumpers determine the following settings: H SCSI ID of the drive (J6) Parity checking (J6) Drive power-up (J6) SCSI bus signals (J7) Terminator power (J8).

Page 9: Terminator Settings
SCSI devices in between must not be terminated. If you install the SCSI hard disk drive in the middle of the SCSI interface, you must remove all three terminator resistors on the drive. When replacing the resistors, make sure pin 1 is aligned correctly. -
