The Haier Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner restores luster and shine to jewelry, watches, glasses and more. Microscopic bubbles created by energy waves loosen surface dirt and dust particles for a thorough cleaning that effectively and efficiently restores items to their original brilliance. Use the Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner to clean jewelry, pins, watches, glasses, dentures, razor heads, antique coins, keys and key chains.

Precautions

To reduce the risk of personal injury when using your appliance, always exercise basic safety precautions, including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using the appliance.

4. Never operate this unit if the cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, or if it has been damaged or dropped into water. Return the unit to a service center for replacement.

10. Never unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp theplug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet.
11. Never touch the electrical outlet with wet hands.
12. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by or near children.
13. Store the unit out of reach of children.
14. Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and heated surfaces. Place on a dry, flat surface.
15. Do not use while bathing.
16. Do not place this unit where it can easily fall or be dropped into water or other liquids.
17. Never reach for a product that has fallen into water. Unplug the unit immediately.
18. Never leave the unit unattended when plugged in. Always unplug the unit whennot in use.

• Turn on the unit unless the tank is filled with water.
• Never fill the tank or clean the unit with harsh solvents, cleaners or abrasives.
• Never immerse the unit completely into water. The unit is not waterproof!
• Unplug the unit before filling with water. Do not exceed the "Max" mark on thestainless steel tank.
• If the unit is not working properly, shut it off. Call an authorized service representative for repair.
• Loosely inlaid stones or unfastened parts may become dislodged during cleaning.
  Note: This cleaner is not appropriate for soft delicate stones (e.g., opals and pearls), or materials such as shells, leather, cloth and wood.
• Do not use this jewelry cleaner for watches that are not water resistant.

BASIC OPERATING

Instructions

1. Open the cover and fill the stainless steel tank with water to the "Max" mark.
2. Place small items to be cleaned into the basket provided. Place the basketinto the water. Large items should be placed directly into the tank to maximize ultrasonic energy.
   Note: When cleaning watches with metal wristbands, slip the watch onto the watch stand provided. Place the watch stand into the tank.
   
3. Close the cover and plug in the unit.
4. Press the "SET" button to choose the desired cleaning cycle. Choosebetween the following time settings: 180, 280, 380, 480, and 90 seconds.
5. Press the "O N" button to begin cleaning. The red indicator light will turn on and the time remaining in the cleaning cycle will be displayed on the screen.
   Note: During cleaning, you may hear hissing noises from the unit. This normal occurrence indicates that cleaning is in progress.
6. When the time display shows 000, the unit will shut off automatically andthe red light will turn off. To interrupt a cleaning cycle, press the "O FF" button. Press the "O N" button to continue.
7. When the cleaning cycle is completed, unplug the unit, open the lid, remove the basket or watch stand and pour the water from the stainless steel tank. Wipe the unit dry.
8. Repeat the above steps if necessary.

Note: For enhanced cleaning, add 2 drops of detergent.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Cleaning

1. Always unplug the unit immediately after use.
2. Empty the tank after each use.
3. Wipe the tank with a dry towel. Always keep the unit clean.
   Note: Do not immerse the unit in water or rinse under running water as this may damage the unit.
4. Store the unit in a cool, dry location.
5. Repairs should be made only by an authorized service representative.
